General information and cancellation policy:

If you know in advance that you will not be able to take all of the lessons at the regular time, you may opt  for a make-up lesson at a different time during the month. Please be aware that you are buying a time slot.  The only legitimate excuse for cancellation at the last minute would be severe weather conditions, (school closings) death in the family or hospitalization and for these reasons only will a credit be carried over to the next month, otherwise you have lost that lesson. Make-ups are not given to lessons that have been cancelled with less than a  24 hour notice.

For those students who can tack up on their own and do not need assistance, they may come a half hour early and prepare the horse for riding.  Tacking up is considered part of the lesson.  Students of all ages are expected to assist in the tacking up process.

Timeliness is appreciated especially when your child is in a group.  Please try to arrive with time to spare and be mindful of the lesson after yours.  Each student is responsible to be in the ring when the lesson is scheduled to begin.  This will help greatly and more time can be spent on the horse.  When the lesson is over the students should bring their horse back to the barn, put him back in his stall, wash the bit and put away his tack.  This will help everyone and will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your co-operation.
